Frequently Asked Questions

What is Therapies at Work?

Therapies at work allows you to offer therapeutic and holistic treatments to your staff as a perk, right in your place of work!  Upon accepting your booking we will supply the specified number of therapists at the agreed time to your location.  All therapists are fully qualified and insured and will provide the necessary equipment, linens, oils and music (where music is appropriate).

How do you vet your therapists?

Orla Norney the founder of Therapies at Home and Therapies at Work is a very well respected holistic therapist, known for her outstanding customer service.  You can read more about her in our About us section.  She is fully qualified, insured and access NI checked and needless to say, expects nothing less from the Therapists she works with.   All are trained in her exacting customer service standards as representatives of her brand, and will treat all clients with dignity and respect.  All she asks is that you treat them the same way!

How should we prepare for your visit?

We bring everything we need with us and only require enough space in a quiet area to carry out the treatments.

As we charge a very competitive hourly rate which does not include travel,  set-up or breakdown time, we would ask that each staff member is ready for their treatment at the correct time.  This will help minimise turnaround between treatments and ensure all staff are back at work at the correct time.

What if I am not comfortable undressing at work?

We have designed a portfolio of treatments specifically tailored to the workplace.  These treatments can all be delivered with virtually no need to undress (we may require heavy items of clothing, neck ties, shoes and socks to be removed depending on the treatment).

I saw a treatment on the Therapies at home page that I would like, can I have that at work?

Yes! We are delighted to offer the full range of Therapies at Home treatments to our At Work clients. Swedish body massage and pregnancy massage do however require a more full state of undress, so we would need a very private room with a lock on the door in order to protect the modesty of the client.

If I enjoyed my Therapy at Work, can I book my therapist to visit my home?

Certainly! All we ask is that you make the booking directly with Orla Norney (the owner) if she is at your workplace or through our website contact us page. If you have a preffered therapist please state that when making the booking as we manage all therapists diaries centrally.
